| Eco Industrial Estates in Andhra Pradesh |
| Research and Evaluation The work on baseline assessment, documentation and monitoring of climate benefits from various interventions planned in Andhra Pradesh under the project on “Planning & Development of Eco Industrial Parks” has been started with a kick off meeting on May 19, 2009 and preliminary visits of the international experts were held during May 18-22, 2009. The studies will help quantify the energy, environment and climate benefits from various interventions being implemented. The measures suggested will support the National Action Plan for Climate Change (NAPCC, 2008) by reducing the consumption of fossil fuels with enhanced process efficiency and reduced air and water emissions |
