India, with technical cooperation of GTZ (German Technical Cooperation), is the first country to launch an online registration of CDM projects for host country approval process on the National CDM Authority of India (NCDMA) website (www.cdmindia.nic.in). This inaugural was done on 19th March 2009 by applying principles of e-governance and e-filing. While inaugurating the website Mr. Vijay Sharma, Secretary MoEF, said that this step was a major initiative to further streamline the working of India's National CDM Authority of India which is reckoned as most efficient and pro-active Designated National Authority (DNA) in the world.
This website will enable CDM project proponents to file applications and upload their project documents directly. |
